Any meetings for ad people in la? I find no one really understands how we work in normal aa meetings. They find it suspect when I’m at work till 10pm every night for 3 weeks.

Just interviewed for a job. Saw an old work friend in the lobby, and he shot me a message after we said hi, saying it’d be great to work in the same building again, "plus this new one has a bar.” 😣

AA meetings on or near campus?

More than halfway through a 90 in 90 and I’m so grateful for NY AA and that there are so many meetings! Also 90 in 90 is actually kinda great

4 years next month

Billing almost 70 hours a week with no end in sight and poor leadership. Struggling hard to hit meetings but still trying to check in w support. Any advice?

How’s everyone holding up? For those of us who do 12 step meetings, I for one miss the hugs! We have to work harder now to stay connected as we are isolators by nature. Find time for you 🙏

Not sober currently. But think about it.
What happened to all your mates when you stopped? Did they dump you (because you make them feel guilty for drinking)? And what if your wife drinks too?

Dry January. Anyone have it turn into the kick off for a longer term plan? Considering this.

Is there a group for people who aren’t alcoholics, but have issues drinking? Is it rude to go to AA if you aren’t totally dependent, but it is affecting you adversely?

You guys are great. Serious question for all... when was the last time you drank and why was it the last time?

Any body have to take a month off work to go to rehab then return? With a threat that most likely your current account will be handled by someone else and suffering lack of confidence maybe even fired
