BigLaw M&A: what do you consider to be “big deal” vs a small and medium deal? For example, what do you consider a $150M deal?

Manager at Cap Invent (Consulting). Deloitte Consulting offering same grade with 13% increase in base salary with TC (bonus incl.) getting to around 95k.

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?

Recently promoted senior and the raise was surprisingly higher than expected. I had applied to a position before knowing about the promotion and raise. I don’t think the position will be able to match the new raise since I was promoted early (new job level is based on years of experience rather than title). Should I politely bow out? The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.
