When you guys are prospectively networking, like when there’s not a role posted yet you want to apply to, but you want to start making connections at a company, are you mostly focused on cold outreaching to recruiters, or proactive referrals, so that when the right role is posted, you have people in your corner? I have been trying to build relationships with recruiters and people in similar roles to the ones I am interested in. And it is better to just network with hiring level authority people?

This strike at Facebook is messing up my numbers. Has anyone else been in a situation like this? They were a major source of work for me. What can I do? I really need advice.
