Why do we call reality TV reality, if it really isn't reality?

For some time now, series about the pre-end of the world time is becoming more and more popular, this is the case with "The Handmaid's Tales" it has a perfect image design, characters with a perfectly defined background, and the ability to represent a totally possible pre-apocalyptic world. It has it all. Any other series with these features?

Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?

I’m a young(ish) male running a private practice. Been with the group a year and a half and haven’t exactly gelled with some of the older employees. We’ve made tremendous financial improvements but in a meeting last night one of the physicians stated, in front of me, maybe we shouldn’t have hired a young guy to run the practice….I can’t think of a more passive aggressive way to ask someone to leave. Hi all, I feel like my life is messed up a Lil bit because my friends who started with 5k monthly in Delhi are now getting 1lakh monthly with Java spring boot hibernate but I have started with 15k monthly at the same time as them but still getting only 50k monthly as a Laravel developer.😕

What to do?

My manager continues to ask me to help other teams and do work on other billable projects. I’m sick of it .. and I’m going to explicitly say that no I can’t do it because my hours are taken by the existing project we are doing. Is this appropriate?
