So I am a TA, filling 20-30 call center roles per month, on top of taking over some HR responsibilities until we fill our HR Manager roll..so I stay pretty busy, working 40-50 hours per week.

I was wondering...What do TA's do when they don't have any open positions to hire for? Does this happen? Is this a thing?

I was wondering if I put down my resignation now. And in case after a few weeks I decide to stay back, can I withdraw my resignation?

I have a 16-month-old son and not a single mom friend. It feels so pathetic to write that. I'd love to find other moms so my kid can have playdates, but also so I can have someone to talk to, commiserate with, give advice, etc. Because of COVID, there isn't much opportunity to interact with other parents at daycare dropoff, and with classes and playgroups scarce, I'm not sure what else to do. Any tips or success stories? Or anyone in Brooklyn want to be friends?

Currently 6 years at job A at 100K and 10K annual bonus but lil to no upward mobility. It's safe if not going anywhere.

Recruiter reached out regarding Job B at 130K with greater advancement potential but it starts out at 6 Months Contract to Hire per the agency contract. No bonus, benefits adequate by comparison. There is no guarantee to go full time.

A girl I’ve been dating has mentioned that she’s still friends with her ex and talks about them hanging out regularly. I asked if she still has feelings for her ex and she said no. Hi Everyone, need some advice. The only reason why I took my current role is because my direct supervisor would be a black woman VP- I was obviously excited because I've never worked with another black woman before. She's been out on maternity leave since September and I've had to cover her role and do my job, which is two levels above mine and supervising someone above my level. Yesterday the SVP tells me they found a new VP (ww) who would be my new boss.
