Does your work require you to go in on a regular basis? If yes where is that? How old are your kids? Do you want access to public transport? Do you have to access the airport regularly? Is diversity important? A little insight on these points would help!
I just bought my first home in East Cobb and I love it here. Great school districts and you can easily find a house for that budget
How far you willing to go? Johns Creek could be a fit if willing to go a bit further. Great school district
Ib I agree on surface that sounds like it amazing deal but like he said this is probably not a house for a regular family and more of an investor( definitely needs to Rano based off price and description)
I’m saying is Johns Creek Alpharetta is an amazing area but not probably affordable for people on my budget
I’m in Marietta and there’s a few townhomes out here around that price.
Loganville, Buford, north Cumming
Yes, actually something me and my wife talk of. We used to live in Midtown and now live in Dunwoody and have a 2 Bedroom Pl. right across the mall for 2000 a month 1250 square-foot. It’s actually a great spot and I love the location(plus a park right in our complex)
I kinda personally say screw it and just enjoy the savings that we have living in a rental vs housing and enjoy living in in an area that will never be able to afford to buy(obviously save the extra money to use for down payment down the road)
F*ckkk no why would you want to live in south Atlanta
Very cute U.S. Bank 1 🤣🤣🤣
Dunwoody has a few: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2218-Peeler-Rd-Dunwoody-GA-30338/14581126_zpid/
There’s some pockets over in Gwinnett, Grayson and Brookwood school clusters are supposed to be pretty good. I don’t know Cobb well, but a lot of folks go to Forsyth to have house vs. schools. It’s the next Gwinnett… which isn’t always a good thing.
@A1 I am extremely successful in my career AND still very aware of the systems that are at work. Understanding these systems is partly why I am so successful compared to most of my peers.
What’s the age of your kids and school district expectation? You can get that in SE Atlanta IMO—Grant park/ Ormewood / East Atlanta
Decatur
Not for < 500k.
The south east corner of Woodstock, or east east Cobb.
