Any recos for habit tracking apps?
Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP

Except KPMG
Exactly what PwC1 and KPMG1 said —> 3 out of big 4 do transfers (Deloitte, EY, PwC)
Then there’s
McKinsey
BCG
The following definitely are not doing it at this time:
Slalom
KPMG
K2 why are you in this bowl?
There is really nobody to escalate to... if you do join the firm, make sure you sign up for Hyatt legal plan so you have access to lawyers outside the firm. You can consult them and get a more objective and timely help on immigration matters
Don't join D until they fix their immigration law firm situation. Really pathetic.
Kpmg2- if you dunno that y u in this bowl 🤷🏽♂️
Also, H1b transfer is what an international employee needs to have when they change employers on H1b since the visa is done by the employer. If X applied to H1b, and u moved from X to Y, Y needs to apply for a transfer from X to Y.
D accepts but will make sure you get your first ever denial. It has highest rate of denials ( DOL stats are public). They pay well but have hired a law firm called Guberman and Garson. They suck to the core. I would stay away for sometime and be in Industry if I were you. You may get approval but for each project amendments become pain and the staffing may take a hit coz the law firm operates slower and is more inefficient than Indian govt. workers
At least all big 4 still accept
What’s an H1B Transfer? Do you mean by relocation?
Not Navigant
Oh, I thought Navigant sponsored? I saw several international employees on LinkedIn actually ummm
I don’t think industry would sponsor for accounting related jobs.. I am only an A3 btw. I tried to connect with some corps but they just immediately said no visa holders
Thank you AA1
D1-: please provide more details. I got an offer from Deloitte and am starting my Visa transfer. I was excited about the offer till I read your comment. Now I'm nervous.
M1 you are wrong, Slalom does H1B transfers. I’ve seen many in my group.
Can attest to D1’s assertion that the lawyers suck to the core. They do stupid mistakes so you then you get an RFE. It’s almost as if they do this intentionally so you have no choice but to stay at the firm longer...
M4: did you experience a denial too? how long does the law firm take to respond to the RFE?
No denials in the end but took the RFE into my own hands. I had already received the final approval by the time they responded to the emails related to the RFE, so that shows you how slow they are...
Wow that's awful. I'm assuming folks have escalated the matter but no action is being taken?
M4, M3 got a rejection recently. SC 6 yrs relevant degrees and industry experience of total 10 yrs. they messed up the JD despite working with them. I have i140 approved already.
