I have approved I-140. Indian nationality so priority date not close to current. If I switch employer, does my employer need to apply for PERM and i140 again as soon as I join, to get H1B extensions?

Well I worked and got appreciated by the client , always exceeded expectations on clients side (have thank you's and appreciation on mail) . My rating is 3 stating "aapko ek hi saal hua h". Got opportunity for a global meeting to attend in Europe but my PM destroyed that opportunity for me. 6th year of h1b starting in 6 months. Firm has just initiated GC process. How long does it typically take to file PERM and is there a 365 day rule that it should be filed 365 days prior to H1B expiration? Any exceptions to that rule.

I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.

I joined PwC AC Bangalore as a fresher and have been working here for 13 months.
I was randomly assigned to SAP, but I’ve realised I really want to move away from this and move towards what I originally planned on pursuing i.e. data analysis, I was already well versed in ML and DL with python.
