What's the hiring process like for a littler case smart attorney? Is it easier to get a case smart position compared to an associate position? Not that I want to be an associate there, but just trying to see if I have a solid chance.

I started a new job in May. I took a step down from Paralegal to Legal Asst. At my interview I was told that to them the title was interchangeable & I would be doing Paralegal work, especially considering that I knew how to do the heavy Paralegal work. But it’s been 6 months of tedious admin work & when I point out mistakes on pleadings, question case strategy or discovery methods, & suggest more effective ways to get things done, I get these weird looks or the brush off. What can I do?

Does anyone regret joining a boutique consulting firm? I signed with a startup out of college (spring 2020) whose founding partners were all partners/Sr leaders at a few T2s. Our firm is super small (dozen FTEs) but does really good work (we charge premium rates and work super cool projects). I’m just having second thoughts as exit opportunities aren’t as prevalent as I thought, the pay/benefits don’t match industry/risk of joint a startup, and I’m not getting the network of a Big4 or MBB

1.5 YOE coming up on promotion from associate to consultant. I plan on waiting for the promotion and then possibly exiting to industry. I work on supply chain ERP implementations. Mostly healthcare but have also been in a few other industries. What are the possible roles for exit opportunities that make the most sense?
