Nah not worth it. and take some of us with you (:
OP what type of roles at FAANG?
I was in your position 2 years ago. I had one offer I really liked but didn’t want to take a hit to relative base comp (would’ve required a move to SF). I’d say take it. The opps I’m getting 2 years later aren’t vastly different and I definitely could’ve got them had I gone to FAANG 2 years ago
Run dumny
Thanks, D3 - super helpful.
A1 - project manager at one, internal strategy at the other.
Damn that sounds cool. You should take it
Take it for sure! Don’t wait
OP could you give us advice/ tips on how to get the offers?
ATK 1 - based on my experience, you can never over-prepare for an interview. Very important to have pitches down for a variety of potential questions, and make sure you’re keeping up with current events, products, services, etc. At the end of the day, there are a lot of smart people that apply/ interview. What sets you apart are the unique experiences you talk about and your general demeanor and personality. Of course, this is just my $.02 and experience with trying to differentiate for strategic roles.

OP what service line in deloitte?
Senior analyst level or what?
Also, I learned that they like to hire people that are overqualified for their positions. Honestly makes sense, so wouldn’t shoot for a position that you’re very under-qualified for like you’d do for a typical industry position.
