I recently moved to the US, and it feels like there's no future for me here. I applied to numerous jobs, but I am having difficulty getting my CV seen. People keep telling me that I won't have much luck as a fresh grad here without any references because I didn't study in the US.
How true is this?

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

For in-house counsel roles, does firm prestige matter? For example, would the fact that an applicant is from Sullivan & Cromwell vs, say, White & Case matter at all, or is it much more about experience/interview? Does it matter as much as law school credentials? Assuming a mid-level corporate associate seeking to go in-house.

Im S1, got an offer from another big 4 to be a manager but my firm (also a big 4) wants to make me a manager and match the salary immediately. Suggestions needed. Got offer from other Big4s with same money offer. Got to talk to very great partners, and practices/work-life balance are very similar across all 3 firms. Currently more toward DT but only cuz I know more people there so I feel less nervous going there. When it comes to turning down offers, what other professional reasons can I provide?
