Who makes better leaders / managers - introverts or extroverts. IMO it is introverts - they tend to value others privacy, don't schedule unnecessary meetings, don't micromanage.

Question for BAH - are you able to expense taxi/uber for after hour safety from your holiday event to home? I know most companies let you and so does Deloitte. Asking for a Booz friend.

If you take vacation, is the onus on you to make up that billable time? If so, how do you enjoy long vacations?

Hello! New to Fishbowl! I am looking for a mentor. I was a stay at home mom and have decided to return to the workforce after my divorce. I am currently a TA but I desire to move into HRIS. I am currently working for a start-up e-commerce logistics company. Accepted the offer in efforts to “get my foot in the door” but I feel like I’m grossly underpaid and unfulfilled bc I didn’t know how to leverage my skills. Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.

Hi All - I’m at a firm that has some infrequent in-house training but not enough to help me develop skills to eventually become a trial lawyer. I know cases rarely make it to trial anymore, but I’d like to develop my skills as much as possible to position myself well when they do.
