I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?

Completed onsite interviews for the TAM role and recruiter gave me feedback that my technical depth wasn’t up to par for the role but my googleness/leadership and GCA interview feedback was stellar so they plan to propose me for Cloud PM roles instead. Friend of mine was supposed to receive an offer (told verbally) from Deloitte and then just found out they are pausing on hiring the role. How common is that? Seems wildly unprofessional that none of the partners called and instead it was the recruiter conveying that news. At McKinsey, if that happened, the head of the practice or the office would personally make the phone call at the very least.

I’m curious - let’s say you have a role to fill but they are targeting only female candidates to balance out the team. What recruiting strategies can i implement to meet those needs?

I'm in the middle of a background check with Deloitte for a Project Delivery role. In the background check application I listed my previous employers - Cognizant/Teksystems etc but my resume only had the client names I worked at . Does this pose a problem if Deloitte HR compares my resume to the background check form ? Also my title within cognizant might have been an associate but my resume mentions the designation for the client. Is this a reason for concern? Will they ask me to justify it ?

Happened to me with Mindtree recruiter, for an IoT leadership position where the interviewing VP chose to no show twice… after which I thanked the recruiter that I was impressed by their book of busi-ness and that it was intimidating to be thinking about the prospect of working for Mindtree… as I’m too incapable for those performance standards… 😂😂

Hi, anyone ever try using a ovulation test as a positive result for pregnancy test? I had an LH surge couple of weeks back and for the past few days my breasts are tender and I am having some taste aversions like yesterday yoghurt tasted like mud. Since my cycle is irregular I took another ovulation test today morning and it came back positive. This is my first time going through this and I am confused as to what is going on. My ASM is lazy and is incapable of doing the easiest basic tasks with recruitment. She receives all my end of day updates, is cc’d on all emails, makes me fill out 5 repetitive excel/smart sheet, and joins all my meetings but she still wants to call having me 5x daily about updates.
