Hello! New to Fishbowl! I am looking for a mentor. I was a stay at home mom and have decided to return to the workforce after my divorce. I am currently a TA but I desire to move into HRIS. I am currently working for a start-up e-commerce logistics company. Accepted the offer in efforts to “get my foot in the door” but I feel like I’m grossly underpaid and unfulfilled bc I didn’t know how to leverage my skills. Can a person just say that he cannot disclose his current salary while negotiating an offer and just mention his expected salary (which may be 2x current one) , because if the current salary is low ,the expected salary can't be too higher than current one ? Never seen such a case so just asking

My ASM is lazy and is incapable of doing the easiest basic tasks with recruitment. She receives all my end of day updates, is cc’d on all emails, makes me fill out 5 repetitive excel/smart sheet, and joins all my meetings but she still wants to call having me 5x daily about updates. I’m always the one to go to if other recruiters fail to meet client deadlines and cleaning up recruiters mistakes. How do I even handle this to begin with?
