Why are companies only required to post to the top 3rd in the salary range?

I thought with the salary transparency laws the full comp range needs to be posted?

This was a hot topic on LinkedIn and I was wondering if anyone knew if it had to do with specific guidelines within the salary transparency law. Otherwise, this wouldn’t be fully transparent.

Apart from the pandemic year, how's hike and bonus in EY GDS in general?

I've heard that last year was rough but in general its good. Is that true?

I'm joining next month. Can i expect an annual hike of 10℅+ and bonus > 10℅ (which is target VP at my rank, 42) going forward?? Or is this unrealistic?

I know that it comes down to individual performance and other business factors. But still, could you all pls advise me so that i can know what to expect.

What should be the salary for Manager / Sr Manager having 14+ yoe in project/product service operations? I am at 32 lpa which I think is quite low having worked with top consulting firms for close to 12 years.

I’m getting ~2k in federal tax refund this year. Why is it so high? I heard that most ppl pay additional tax or get smaller refunds. Is my salary being withheld at a higher rate? I’m in my second year of employment.

2012 Sr Associate. Left my firm in February after being recruited by a partner I used to work for, and it turns out I’m not very happy. Difficult people, terrible schedule and ruined vacations so far. A partner at my old firm in another group has asked if I would come back to work for just him. I liked working for him, we have great rapport and I could do permanent WFH since he is in another city. I don’t want to burn bridges, would this be a bad idea? Or an easy decision?
