The high and mighty attitude that is pervading this thread is precisely why Trump won and really shows you all haven't learned anything. If all of you are so much smarter than them, why haven't you figured out how to improve income inequality / raise real wages for the average American, or stimulate the economic growth required to find them all jobs?

Way to generalize an entire group of people based on what is most likely a limited understanding or knowledge of who these people are. How about we setup stops on the interstate and prevent them from coming to the east/west coasts...we can call it a travel ban...the hypocrisy of this thread is insane

No bCG1- the reason why they are unemployed because they are lazy and refuse to work hard! And that's when the immigrants come in to take their jobs! It's survival for the fittest! American should know it cause they invented it! Don't give me that excuse that they don't have jobs! If I can come to this country with nothing and be whee I am, they can too! I worked hard and paved my way; they didn't! I have zero sympathy for that!

At BCG1, I used to care. I was actually a strong states rights moderate to liberal, still am. This is offensive though. Been trying too long to fix something unfixable. Now I'm just for splitting the country or making them irrelevant (i.e. accelerating their inevitable decline)

Because they are the ones that make up the military and have to go police the world when something bad happens in the US. It's not liberal NY socialites that join the Marines.

I think we're in this mess because moderates have been a bunch of pussies the past few decades. Always deferential, trying to please everyone. Not possible. Have to do the best you can. May be a generalization, but again nothing is perfect. Works pretty well.
The argument people are trying to make here is that people from the Midwest are inferior. You then suggest that they are inferior because they are lazy, which is leading to them not having jobs. However unemployment is actually worse on most coastal states, which would suggest there are more lazy people on the coasts suggesting that there are even more inferior people on the coasts then in the mid west which completely flips the argument you are trying to support up side down
Underprivileged and undereducated. Same as rural whites but more of them and moreso due to historical/societal issues. Rural whites have far fewer things holding them back than undocumented immigrants or poorer blacks in inner cities.
We're not one country that is fallacy. Rural and southern areas have been saying that for decades, time to listen and let them do what they want. They will inevitably destroy themselves. They've been afforded every opportunity the world has to offer and yet would be no better than Afghanistan without urban and northern areas moderating them.

Also, the current Palestinian crisis was caused by the British and you better believe that without the US acting as world police there would have been multiple more Arab Israeli wars, or just the complete massacre of all Jews in Israel by the Arabs...
