Well one thing that comes to mind is that, IMO and personal experience - most onshore folks especially women are modestly dressed in semi formals. Not sure about DL but in pune i see guys wearing track pants jerseys and dirty crocs n sandals to work. And these girls wearing crop tops and ultra sleeveless tops few of them roaming with footwear. I am all up for mah lyf mah rulz but I am sorry, there should be some work attire and decency at a corporate firm. We aren’t some pr or marketing agency
I agree with ZS1. In my 10+ yrs. of exp across multiple consulting and client firms I have seen them in business casuals.. and multiple firms include this as part of their onboarding process as well.
As against comfort, they being client facing they choose to dress accordingly.
I’m ok for ppl to be a rebel - And ppl opposing do one thing without fail and this brings a revolution it’s great.

Ms don’t point out as they may feel uncomfortable or interpret it their own way. Better raise it with the leadership to have these as firm level guidelines.
