Why is VL ignoring the Central Govt's Nov 2025 rule mandating Basic Pay at 50% of CTC, effective FY 2026-27?

Is this intentional? Lower Basic Pay directly means lower gratuity payouts when employees leave — and with such consistently delayed and poor appraisals, even the most loyal, long-serving employees are now reconsidering their future here.

Loyalty is a two-way street. Are others facing this? Has anyone raised it formally with HR?

Why would a luxury watch brand make/sell connected or smart watches? What is the business reason for it? To me it just kills the brand value. For instance I was a big fan of Montblanc but after I see their smart watch line up I instantly devalued the brand in general. Same for Tag (tag is questionable anyways), or Breitling.
