I didn’t get a CS degree. I studied applied math and geospatial and have fallen into software engineering. I now have 4+ years experience with it (writing clean production code with this geospatial speciality if I need it as well). What is a Goode base salary for someone like me working remotely in Vermont?

I have observed that people on testing domain or frontend are getting better pay than other new tech domains like blockchain, cyber security, data sci etc(4-11yr exp) .
For less than 4 years experience new tech job gettig good pay but others getting very less.

In dev job Java, spring r etc getting better pay. Also some SAP consultant are also get paid high.
Is exp people in testing/frontend dev are less due to which they getting better pay than others with experience.
