Clocking a colleague in and out is grounds for dismissal. I think it’s cross the line.
I don't think people will get away with that and I think it would be a really bad idea to try honestly OP. Especially badging in and out for people. I also thought they were returning RTO five days a week and if that is the case their manager is going to notice that they aren't actually in the office.

I agree—it’s definitely crossing a line. These tactics might seem clever in the short term, but they can lead to serious consequences like disciplinary action or termination. Plus, managers will likely notice, especially with full-time in-office expectations. It’s better to have honest conversations with leadership about flexibility than trying to game the system.
Yeah. None of methods listed as are “clever”. They are extremely rudimentary and you are guaranteed to get get caught.
There's a difference between "creative tactics" and immorality.
