Partners - what was the most stressful year of your career? The year before you made partner? Your first year of partnership? The year(s) you or your partner gave birth?

Would love to hear thoughts on best approach of you are a senior associate at V10 firm. Do you just become counsel until they tell you that partnership is not in the cards or do you try to hop to the first partnership (equity, or at least NEP with clear progression to equity if you bring in some business) opportunity at a say V50 firm. I am currently working on my MBA in a professional evening and weekend program at a highly accredited university. I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

Anyone had good multiple offers and had one the hiring managers pressure you into taking the offer after asking for additional time to think about it?

I’m interviewing with the Deloitte and they’re taking an extremely long time. It’s for their internal strategy team.

Another role just got posted that I think aligns better with my skill set and something I would definitely enjoy more.
