Working at a small ID firm and want to break out and work at a larger firm. Any tips for breaking in or any firms looking. I have 11 years experience.

At your level the question is about your portable business. All ID firms are always looking if you have portable business. If you don’t, it’s just a question of whether your salary expectations are reasonable.

How’s your salaries in NYC for a 12 year NEP (assume no book for now) + if I had a book, is there origination?

So no portable business. One day I want to learn that skill set. Salary I’m making 130k with about 10-20k in bonuses. I’d think getting to a larger firm charging significantly higher rates I’d be able to do much better than that

How much are you billing per year? Larger ID firms are not charging significantly higher rates. ID is ID. There may be some exceptions to that, but not many.

I’m making 150 at 12 years out at the biggest ID firm in the country. Unfortunately there aren’t much higher salaries out there at ID firms. Better off going in house at an insurance company. I’ve read some are paying 200k + for your type of experience. I’ve debated applying as well but trying to find better alternatives first

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? For reference, I did Venice-Florence-Rome in a week and it seemed okay but it also wasn’t as planned out
