I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

Okay so, I find myself in a tough situation. Recently, my professional license became jeopardized. There’s many details that I rather not share publicly just incase, but trust me when I say that this was over a ridiculous complaint that wasn’t serious. I have an attorney involved working with me on an appeal, but I’m really nervous and feel that I morally made the right decisions in the situation that I faced. I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. Is this something I should even consider? I miss my patients and some of my coworkers and the pay is better, but I don't feel like I would really be welcome to come back.
