PwC has a good job security in India. Layoffs were done in the US. It will open up good opportunities for you in the future. Don't listen to people, go ahead and join PwC. All the Best!
Thanks mate just to give a background opportunity I am getting is in audit. Any idea about the work pressure in audit department
Dude you are from USI work pressure ki toh baat nahi hai Karo. But it varies from team to team. As for job security it's good there are no layoffs in India, in fact they are planning on expanding and doubling the headcount over the next 2 years.
Don't worry atleast from what I have I have experienced here in consulting they are pretty chill and laid back. I find it less far better than the hustle culture of USI. Probation is for name only, AC is a mix of MNC and small time lala company so you would find elements from both.
I would suggest to not join. For the first time in 10 years of tech experience, I never went through such unethical and such unrealistic things I had faced in pwc. I was forced to resign in just a month because of their mismanagement, diff skill set, unrealistic deadlines and direct into escalation project.
I am telling you, if possible choose another option.
In the name of all ethics, they(senior managers, directors) play a very dirty game and they don't care about people's well being. They only want to go up the ladder crushing everyone and basically on ground work is on associates, senior associates and managers.
Pathetic organisation.
Thanks brother for your feedback I heard so many of negatives reviews same as yours surely something wrong with culture there
Only option I have then to stay in kpmg
PwC Acceleration Centers specifically. If it's from PwC India, you can still think once. But PwC AC is a big red flag ❌ and almost all projects are like similar in which zero wlb, but the main thing is the expected outcome is unclear and they want completion in 1-2 days. What kind of senior managers and directors work in PwC I don't understand.
Just one last thing. As you were in tech team any idea it's same culture in assurance & audit prectice
Not sure but have heard that there also 60-70% projects have tight deadlines and work is required on saturdays and sundays
