McKinsey & Company How likely is McKinsey to rescind an offer if there's a recession/downturn before my start date? Received an Associate offer with a start date early in the Fall. But I'm worried about the offer being rescinded due to the ongoing McK scandals/issues and a potential recession in the making (which may prompt them to freeze hiring and/or renege offers).
Has this happened to anyone before at McKinsey, offer getting rescinded due to economic/company downturn? A bit worried

I’d spend the three days asking for more time
That’s the best way to use ChatGPT, no reason to be embarrassed. If you used it to write the scripts themselves that would be a different story.
I generally spend a little time watching ads I like for some inspiration. Trying to think “how would the writer of X ad approach this?”. Researching insights for an interesting way in - which AI can be useful for. Asking strategy for anything they’ve found. Chatting with my partner about the brief and what it brings to mind for them.
Getting tunnel vision happens to every good writer, I think. Finding new ways to shake you out of it really helps.

The way timelines are nowadays, you kinda have to use AI if you don’t want to work 14 hrs a day

I think most shops actually want you to use AI for this purpose now so don't be embarrassed.
What would be the best way to use AI for OP? I have to admit I have been slow to adapt. Hit me w some buzz words pls.
What would be the opposite of that? That feels like a pretty standard way of writing scripts.
Using AI in your creative process doesn’t mean that you’re not skilled at your job, and not using it doesn’t mean you’re skilled at your job. The end result, the work itself, does.
So if you get to your ideas by spending a month by yourself in a monastery, good for you. If I get to mine watching Youtube while taking a shit, good for me. If someone else gets to great ideas by using AI in the process, I couldn’t care less.
You don’t get good output without good input. Not now, not ever.
Write about 20 angles. Maybe more. Throw out the most obvious ones. Then pick my a few different ones to show range. And then craft the scripts. For script writing, what’s the most entertaining way to say the thing I need to say. I usually write a draft, then rewrite it about 10 times to make it as clear and surprising as I can.
You tell them you need more time. Three days means they’re going to be first ideas which are usually crap.
Look, everyone’s process is different. But I’d encourage you to try to opposite of this.
Pretty much the same process for me. I just try to think of as many nuggets as I can then flesh out the winners. And I use AI in a similar fashion. It’s mostly bad but it sparks ideas of my own
i can't remember the last time i had 3 days to think and write lmao does that include brief, full thinking day, check in? or three days of concepting.
no check in, end of round 1. if the scripts aren’t loved, we get another couple days for round 2. on occasion maybe an extra day or two.
