Been crazy utilized for the last year-plus and am wanting to spend some upcoming downtime to pursue additional certifications. Anybody in here have any perspectives on CFF/ABV (e.g., prep time, difficulty, value)?

I started studying for the ABV but haven’t taken any tests yet, but one thing about the prep is that the AICPA review course is AWFUL in comparison to prep courses I’ve taken for other certifications. The practice questions don’t seem to correlate with the materials they provide.

You’re better off reading chapters from business valuation textbooks. I’ve been using Trugman’s Understanding Business Valuation.

Good looking out, thank you!

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

Hello Fishies-!!!!!

I had question, when we apply for a job in another country, they usually ask a question “Are you legally allowed/eligible to work in that country”

In such a case, do you select yes or no? What is the criteria to answer that question?

Please help!

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!
