More and more I've been considering something like this. I don't know where I would go, but I'm tired of being tied down to a district that doesn't appreciate me and dealing with parents who find every reason to fault me as much as possible. Would you ever consider doing something like this for a while instead of working in a school?

I am exhausted. I'm just leaving now after a long day, and it's only Wednesday 😭. How do you get past the hump in the middle of the week? I feel like no matter how much sleep I get I wake up tired every morning, and go to bed tired every night. I had so much energy the first week of school and now I just feel drained.

Check out what's listed under "benefits" for this teaching position in my state! What a benefit it must be to their teachers that they get to stay past the normal workday. 🙄 While we all know this is expected of teachers, I think it's pretty sad to have it listed as something teachers should look forward to and anticipate. Needless to say I won't be applying!
