Anyone who got laid off at Droga?

Droga is long known to make everyone sign an NDA and then uses them to make people resign vs being laid off. Will this shady policy change now that presidential candidates are talking about this?

So Droga had 2 rounds of big layoffs and then promoted a bunch of people to make the company even more top heavy than it already is. Why?

likefunny

So droga promotes three people (all who are white...so diverse) to c suite and creates a new bs role for another executive and yet laid off 100 employees this year #agencyofthedecade

Just got laid off from Droga! Headed to drink bloody Marys. Apparently there are more to come. Let me know if anyone else gets the axe. I’ll buy you a drink

Now the thing is common Java related data structures needed for application development are okay and Java frameworks are also fine but the next steps is where I am facing issue(non CS background with 4+ exp). Would welcome suggestions if there are any preparation strategies and materials or suggestions for paid courses also.

I paid off all my debt (mostly student loans) earlier this year and haven’t changed my spending or lifestyle and the savings have been piling up. It’s getting addicting just watching it jump up after every paycheck. Feels amazing to no longer be in crippling debt and finally move on with my life.

Under contract for nearly 1.1M. Wife and I are at HHI $315k. Will go up in the future, $400k in 3 years and $500k possible in 5-7 years. We have $300k in non-retirement funds, $260k of which will go towards acquiring the house. We have 2 kids and will probably reduce (not maxing) retirement accounts next 18 months to do this. Anyone have any thoughts or feedback? We’ll have to live on a budget and watch but I feel we’ll get used to it and income will grow.
