I'm more following along for advice because this was a great question. But what you want out of the practice even longer term than that? Do the partners around you seem like they enjoy life or are they overworked alcoholics with an affair? What do you want to be at their age? In a boutique firm are you looking to get more client interface/ develop a book of business? Commercial Lit, looking to get really good at a specific aspect of litigation? Do you want to try and specialize or learn any areas of knowledge adjacent to commercial lit, like e-discovery with a more boutique feel?

Deloitte PPMDs, I can't figure out why D would not just reduce the number of temporary visa workers under H1B program vs. firing 5% of its workforce that are probably mostly US citizens. Wow. This morning on a quarterly regional all hands an Accenture Managing Director (and leader) had the group stop for a full minute for thoughts and prayers for the president in the first lady in the wake of their coronavirus diagnosis. Not sharing my feelings... Just leaving this there.
