A company was pretty aggressively recruiting me until 4 interviews in — no movement. I haven’t heard back in a week and a half about next steps. Should I assume I won’t be moving forward any longer? Does anyone use Interactive Student Notebooks (ISN) in their math class. I've used them in the past and doing it again this year. How's it going with students following instructions and assembling their notebook handouts?

I teach 3rd grade Math. I am looking for ideas for math centers, that focus on fact fluency.

I’m preparing to teach division with decimals. Our math program doesn’t have manipulatives for the concrete representation. Suggestions how to have students understand dividing with/without decimals?

So I’ve taught middle school and now I’m thinking I want to make the switch to high school. Those that have gone from middle to high school, how has that change been for you? Especially those in Alabama, did you have get additional certification? My license says 4-8 math, algebra and geometry

What’s your opinion on math homework? I teach 4th grade and have always given it but I’d like to see what others do and weigh out if it’s really worth it. If I give it, I feel like I should spend class time going over it but on the other hand I stress myself out trying to keep the absent work organized and those that don’t even do the work.

Any good outside activities (math related) that I can do? I have Nerf guns and remote control cars I could use.
