Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

I went from MS (7/8) to HS Geometry this year. It is SO much better!!
I haven't cried lmao
I don't loathe the thought of getting up for work.
The kids actually listen and do their work.
It's so much better. DO IT!
I totally agree!
I taught 7th grade for 15 years and moved to high school in 2004. I personally loved the change. Just the level of maturity alone made a big difference to me. I moved from NYC to Florida. My Certification didn’t require me to get anything more. I will never go back to Middle school.
I absolutely love middle school. High school is too high stakes for me for sure.
Most teachers love middle school due to the fact that there are zero expectations from students, parents, or admin.
Kids are easier to deal with at the hs level …but stakes are higher and that involves more stress.
