Disagree with trying to add more to this itinerary. Sevilla is amazing and deserves more than 1 day. Same with Barcelona and Madrid. I think ops original itinerary is good but do agree you could make Córdoba a day trip to avoid switching hotels.
Agree - Sevilla was definitely one of the highlights.
Think the itinerary looks good. The only thing I suggest is when you’re in Andalusia ( Seville/ Granada), make sure you visit one of two white villages - Ronda is my favorite
I’d cut down Barcelona days and a Seville day and add a trip to either Menorca or San Sebastián.
Nerja Nerja Nerja
You can do 2 days in Barcelona, 2 in Madrid and 1 in Sevilla, keep Cordoba and Grenada and hit the beaches in the Balearics instead. Also Córdoba is a day trip, no need to stay overnight there
We did about the same trip as you’re laid out out except we did 1 day Sevilla, 1 day Granada, stopover at Cordoba to see the gran meqzuita when training from Sevilla to Madrid, 2 days Madrid. It was an awesome trip.
Thanks all. The water may be too cold in May. I’ll check out one of the white villages
You need to add a day trip to Toledo
Yes, planning to do that from Madrid.
Toledo is a fantastic day trip. The train from Madrid is 30 minutes. Visit the cathedral, get a view from across the river, and I recommend a walking tour of the city. It really is a gem of a city to walk through. Full disclosure: I am a bit biased as I studied abroad there.
Whats the best way to get around Spain? Fly from Barcelona to Seville and take train thereafter or train the entire trip by buying a Renfe pass? I will have a checked in bag if flying
Admittedly don’t know- I flew into Madrid then flew to Malaga. After the train from Malaga to Córdoba, I immediately regretted not taking the train from Madrid to Malaga. Just an easier ride- definitely will 🚊 next time.
Mixed bag. We flew into Barcelona, then flew to Granada, believe bus to Sevilla, train to Madrid (with a few hour stop off in Córdoba
Thinking of a similar trip but have been to Sevilla and Barcelona before. What are people’s thoughts on Malaga and Marbella, with day trips to Grenada, Ronda? Would be around 10days total. Going in late May
