3 months sober. grateful to have found this group! the return to office pressure is getting to me more and more with every "happy hour" i'm promised to celebrate my return. i want to run and hide but i know that isn't realistic.

Is there a group for people who aren’t alcoholics, but have issues drinking? Is it rude to go to AA if you aren’t totally dependent, but it is affecting you adversely?

Any meetings for ad people in la? I find no one really understands how we work in normal aa meetings. They find it suspect when I’m at work till 10pm every night for 3 weeks.

I'm struggling. people places and things. the place is work and the person is a co-worker. I had a few drinks yesterday. ill hit an AA mtg tomorrow. I'll keep trying.

At an in-office happy hour I once had a coworker shout out loud that she doesn’t trust people who do not drink upon discovering I had OJ in my champagne glass. #rude #IdidntGiveAfuck

4 years sober today. So much to reflect on, not least of which how important it is to “get comfortable getting uncomfortable”. In my experience, it’s truly the only way forward.
