I'm a recent grad who accepted an entry-level full-time job offer with Capital One. I knew that MBB and other consulting firms rarely ever negotiate salary with new grads, so I didn't with Capital One as well. Was that a mistake? What were the likelihoods that they would have raised my salary? I had no other competing offers at the time

What are your recommendations for cloud-based veterinary practice management software?

Why is it that when ever I look at “entry level” jobs in IT they always want 2-4 years of experience. It’s entry level that means maybe some certifications if they didn’t major in the field or a degree in the field. Not 2-4 years already working in the field. Can someone please explain this to me?

When did suffering through a work day in constant physical pain due to a medical issue become normal? The guilt I feel for staying home is more than I ever expected when I wanted to become a teacher.

How have you trained yourself to watch what you say 100% of the time when you are at work? I come from a very politically conservative background and am having trouble adjusting.

How do you “turn off” your teacher brain at the end of the day? I’m having a hard time disconnecting from the stress of the day and all of the issues I run into with students, parents, etc.
