Figma: frames or groups?
Hi,
In tcs my joining date is passed still not received onboarding link.
Is it normal there because been 4 days delay still they are not giving any update.
It’s kinda hectic to call every time to recruiter and get back with the same answer like work in process.
Should I even expect the joining date?
Let me know if anyone faced that kind of situation before. Tata Consultancy even onboarding manger is not giving Reply’s to my. Mails

I love my job but can’t afford to live in the district. I commute 45-75 minutes each way. My salary isn’t keeping pace with the cost of living.
I'm confident you're not alone on this one. I've been there myself when living in San Francisco. The salaries reflect how we feel valued among other things.
The challenge with this one is like many other problems in education, it requires systemic change and funding. In many ways feeling valued is the barrier to achievement for many teachers.
Let's open the dialogue on this since as much as we try to leave things at the door, it can be very hard.
Uncertainty about being hired on again for next year and what courses I’ll be teaching. 95% sure about being hired back, but could have as many as 5 preps. I keep telling myself to focus on getting through the next 3 months, but I can’t help being future minded. Is it awful that I’m already looking forward to course planning this summer?!
I think it's normal to look ahead. While mindfulness is great for tasks, processing and planning is healthy. It's especially normal to plan for uncertainty and change. Most of uncertainty that leads to anxiety or rumination are the things out of our control. If we acknowledge that, it allows us to double our effort and process towards the things within our control. That way we're not waiting for things to happen to us but pursuing our intention. Easier said than done of course. Wishing you a rejuvenating summer! Looking ahead at times that we can take a break and relax is also what helps us through difficult times. Light at the end of the tunnel. So not terrible at all.
