I am interviewing with the “Innovation” team (part of Adapt) in a couple of days. What is the interview like? Any pointers for prep?

I am looking for opportunities in Dubai.. I have a PhD, 2 postdoc fellowships, have experience managing projects throughout my PhD and postdoc, currently senior consultant (i focus on systematic lit reviewss). Experienced scientific writer with over 30 peer reviewed articles. IQVIA in Dubai is one place am hoping to try. Can someone help point out what other industry I can fit into - i am mainly looking for a good work life balance.. any examples of companies in Dubai you can share?

YOE - 7yrs, Automation Tester, what's the current market payout?

Graduating with PhD in comp neuro next year. I just did a week long internship at MBB to check out consulting, which I loved but ultimately will not be accepting my offer for life considerations (my wife also works at MBB and we have young children). It was amazing getting a sense of what the work actually comprises.

Are there any similar day-long or week-long internship programs for data science? Would love to test it out for a little bit to see what I like/dislike.

Is Hillingdon/ Uxbridge a nice area to live and commute into London? SO is starting a job in Ox so considering living somewhere in between.

Alternatively, would it be better to just live in Ox and getting a train into Marlybone (my commuting tolerance is higher than my SO)?

1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. Basically feeling like an 18 year old over here with no knowledge of how to run my own life. Having to start over after long term controlling relationship where I was left out of all the finance stuff. So I’m lost TBH. Engineering makes sense, managing my money not so much.
