McK/Bain fish, do you guys get free leatherbound notebooks?

I've been so lucky to have tons of friends giving me hand me downs but it seems like it might be too much if I accept everything. What are the absolute necessaries that I should accept multiples of and what can I pass on?

I got an offer from Infosys. My manager says they will retain me by providing the same offer what I got in Infosys, i have put my resignation and my manager is calling me on weekly basis and saying that he is talking with senior leadership. Will TCS retain me? Suggestions please. I heard TCS has stopped allocating funds for retaintion is that true?

I have had salary discussion and the Hr provided me the salary breakup on 5th August, I have accepted the the offered salary, how long will it take to receive the offer letter for TCS.

Trying to get out of consulting. Ux is so watered down and I’m terrified that it’s going to stunt my growth. I’m overall just not happy. Sure, consulting pats decently but I love the field of UX and just get stuck making wireframes that the customer requests. The field is so competitive right now and I can’t seem to land another job. I passed out in 2013 and started job in 2015 on contractual basis till mid 2017 and during this Many payroll companies changed for that particular contract and in this duration my PF, tax didn't deduct and no record in PF portal. Then joined Infosys in mid 2017. So now wanted to know can I show my experience from 2017 to apply in companies as for bgv many companies ask for PF statement or form 16 for all previous companies. How should I deal for 4 years gap if i show exp. from 2017 ?

Why do teachers (and people) move so quickly into personal attacks when others disagree? We teach our students not to do this. Why can't the adults behave in the way we teach others to?

The gaps are quite amazing. I was shocked by the comments I read from an Illinois teacher. Their words sounded so pig headed. All triggered by the word “conservative”.
