I’ll be honest the whole north west side is getting pretty bad. It might be worth commuting a little ways out.
I like to be around things instead of stuck in a car.
If you don’t want to drive there’s plenty of homes around the Seaworld area however traffic is challenging anywhere you go in town anymore, because so many people are moving here and the city has never had a good planning commission. The city just let the developers go wild, it’s been that way for the past 30 years.
Alamo Ranch is probably your best bet. It will be close to work for you, property values are still more or less reasonable and there are plenty of gated communities.
This is where my brothers live and they really love it. You will really ike it.
