Hi fishes, I need 11 likes to enable dm.
Fidelity Investments I joined FIL on 08th August 2022 and hence was eligible for appraisal but even after a good feedback, I was told that there is no increment in salary as well as bonus because of "Too Soon To Decide" rating. And this is being followed not just in our team but in whole FIL. This is the first time I am hearing such kind of thing and didn't found any thing like this on "HR Hub". So, if anyone of you know about this or have received similar gyan from Manager, please share your experience. Fidelity In

If I’m looking at this through a strict hiring lens, I don’t just take a candidate’s word for it. A résumé with six agency changes in three years signals instability, even if every individual move has a “reason.” It’s a clear risk that she’ll do the same thing again once something shinier comes along. I’d ask myself, if I have another candidate who’s equally strong and shows loyalty and staying power, why gamble on the one with the track record of short stints?
What was her reasoning for the change though? Agencies signals fed to me so there could have been reorgs where she didn’t feel like she quite fit or shuttering of organizations, etc. But ultimately it’s about the questions you ask to surface the “unsaid” answer so it aligns with her “assurance” it doesn’t happen in the future.
Normally I'm not pretty picky about people job hopping. It happens, we all go through it. But six in three years is actually a lot. And it doesn't sound like she has a good rationale behind why she is hopping so often, just making promises about why it won't happen in the future, promises she probably made to the other companies as well…

if you have someone equally strong, I would probably lean towards that person unless there's something else that specifically makes this jumping candidate stand out to you
