These recommendations are OK but there are better ones that Koreans prefer. For KBBQ, try Samwon Garden BBQ (Get Samwon Galbi in the menu), Jongro (lines used to be long before COVID but it's well-rounded--good bbq and side dishes), and Yoon Haeundae (they have good side dishes but compared to the other two the side dishes seem a bit pricier). My favorite is Samwon. My partner's favorite is Jongro. I haven't had any good Korean chickens in midtown but there seem to be a few in Flushing.
Have you tried Turntable Cheese Jazz?
BCD Tofu House is good Korean food overall (although not KBBQ or KFC specifically). It’s part of BCG’s efforts to diversify.
Her name is Han is amazing for their budaejiggae (army stew). But to answer your question - I love bonchon over any of the other fried chicken chains/restaurants 😅

Gyu kaku lol
It’s Japanese but one of my faves!
Bonchon
Jongro/Kang Ho Dong (very close to each other) for KBBQ, and Bonchon/Olive BBQ chicken for fried 🍗
Samwon Gardens, Jongro, and Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong are all solid recs. Samwon is known a bit more for its "steak", Jongro and KHD more for the traditional KBBQ stuff (samgyeopsal, kalbi).
The only all you can eat I have tried is Let's Meat. Honestly not bad at all. Better than I was expecting.
99 favor!! AYCE, but not necessarily Korean bbq. They also have AYCE hot pot

Hometown hotpot & bbq in Chinatown/LES
2nd Samwon Garden and Jongro. Cote is excellent but pricey. Let’s Meat is another ktown option
Do they have ayce in ktown?
Lets meat offers ayce

Let’s Meat and HYUN might be the only AYCE KBBQ places in ktown. Let’s Meat being the regular experience (and pretty good actually), and HYUN serving Japanese A5 wagyu.
Olive Chicken for fried chicken
I know you were asking about K Town but Boka in east village on st Mark’s has delicious fried chicken. Not sure how “authentic” it is buts it’s extra crispy and extra amazing. I miss it!
