A company rejected me for a job in March, but yesterday another recruiter reached out about what appears to be the same role - except this time it might be permanent instead of contract. Is it okay to apply again? Should I mention to the recruiter that this company already rejected me before?

I feel like I am very naive and cannot read between the lines, so I can’t tell if someone is trying to fuck me over or not. This leads me to be extremely skeptical of others’ intentions, and makes me less confident that I can influence others, and in general really erodes my self-confidence.
