A new Analyst in our group completely lied about his Python proficiency on his resume, and now I'm stuck doing his data cleanup. He can barely run a basic script without breaking the entire database. Part of me wants to let him drown so management sees the truth, but the other part knows his failure just makes my night longer. Is a little embellishment just standard protocol now, or should I flag this to the team?

Let the team and your manager know. I had someone with zero Excel skills who lied on their resume and I should have told the leaders sooner, because I was continuing to do double work.

The lack of honesty in this industry saddens me. Dear CDs and ECDs, if you're gonna put work in your book that you barely touched/had nothing to do with, at least credit those who came up with it.

Hi Fishes,

I just received an offer from a company I was interviewing at. However, they are rushing things and asking me to sign the offer letter ASAP.

Can you please guide me on how do I use this offer to get an even higher total compensation? Do I accept the offer and then appear for other interviews? Do I tell them to wait? Need guidance.

Thanks!!!
