I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?

4th year at a mid size PI firm. Got pulled from litigating MVAs to help this solo we hired start a med Mal/nursing home practice. 1 year in and it looks like I’m two steps backwards in terms of getting paid because we’re a year or more out from a lot of the fees hitting. The older I get and the more I think about raising my own children, I keep thinking how can parents frame religious duties like fasting as something to look forward to. I think volunteering as a family can help install the value of giving back and zakaat. Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

Can someone please explain the process of selling a home when you have an Islamic loan? Since it’s profit sharing i don’t fully own the home right? So if i sell it i can’t take full profits since i don’t own it outright. I’m considering Islamic financing but have so many questions about it. Can you take an equity line? Can you write off mortgage interest?
