I'm sorry, first of all. But mostly I find it interesting that it's now a percentage because unless I'm losing my mind (entirely possible), it used to be a flat dollar amount. So I agree 3.4% feels low/unjust, but at the same time if it's higher than $1,800 or whatever the flat rate I was told it was years and years ago then I hope that's at least some small peace.

Hello all,

I've just started my new role as HR state manager for a large international law firm.

I'm a male and my admin is female. After working with her for a week and discussing it with my wife, I think my admin is a little smitten for me.

I have no feelings towards her whatsoever and have been nothing but very professional in all interactions.

Was wondering best way to set boundaries from the start?

My mom and dad are separating (bad terms) and not speaking, but my mom asks me about him everyday. She knows I don’t want to talk to him or about him, but continues to bring it up everyday.. I’ve resorted to silence or not responding because I always end up being the bad guy when I get annoyed or don’t want to discuss it. Am I wrong here?
