Do you like orange or green/black more?

Have worked at both …DEFINITELY choose Deloitte!! Way better culture, way nicer people, way more WLB and much better perks and compensation.

PwC is the worst company I’ve worked for

like

Seconded! Same boat. Deloitte >> PwC

likeuplifting

This is so team dependent. It could be any two firms, and peoples individual experiences would have little to no relation to what your experience will be. I know ppl at Deloitte who got screwed with terrible clients and workload, while my experience has been very positive.

So just pick one and cross your fingers you get lucky

like

Deloitte. Easy decision. Better benefits and tech.

In India, it would be definitely Deloitte. I work at PwC and my cousin works at Deloitte. Their perks are way better.

like

Deloitte is way better and I have worked for both. I like the culture better. Deloitte also offer $1,000 wellness perks which is nice $500 for hybrid supplies to get for home. The only nice thing about PWC was that we were able to get a phone. I was not able to get a phone with Deloitte was told mangers only. I was actually surprise

like

Don't come to PwC. It isn't good

like

I worked at both. D is far better

like

Haven't worked at either firm, but I like Deloitte's logo better.

Tbh I’m not in accounting but I’d go with Deloitte. Appears to have a better culture, or better perks at least lol

like

If you read the wiki for both organisations, PWC had way more controversies and brush with law than Deloitte.

I worked for deloitte audit and would love to boomerang back someday. Def miss it compared to pwc. With WLB and culture and better AC to deal with at Deloitte.

Practice and team may have a big impact on experience.

Love Deloitte. Most amazing benefits ever.

Continuation - Green dot culture is so bad in audit. Worked in two different offices, team turnover was insane. Nobody really welcomes you. I asked to hangout with my start class, nobody replied and skips over with another audit question. Everybody is constantly working and does not respect the time of others. Super passive aggressive, if not just flat out aggressive. Would 0/10 recommend

like

That's because the rest of the Firm struggles to get audit to realize that there is so much more out there that Feloitte does and not everything revolves around local office (e.g., if you want best for your local client it may come from an expert in another offering in another city).

Your experience will depend on practice - the nature of the work and the people on your team. Someone else's experience will not be yours.

Any idea which engagements they've slated for your after joining? This is probably as good of a factor as any.

Hi Guys,
Help needed!!!

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!
