About to start at a new company, but I’ve been contacted by a recruiter at another firm about an open role. I don’t want to jeopardize my upcoming start, but I’d still like to understand the role, comp, WLB and overall offer.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What’s the best way to handle this with the recruiter? Is it reasonable to take the call and keep it exploratory without mentioning that I’m about to start a new role?

Would would a senior product manager do over and beyond a product manager. We don’t have any seniors at my startup and I’m trying to figure out what I need to do/achieve to get promoted. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Working as CAL Manager with Accenture S&C India. Offered ~GBP 76.5K (fixed plus flexi) at Manager Grade by Deloitte London.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role
