What do you do on a Friday night to unwind and destress after a long WFH week?

I recently launched two remote Airbnb rentals (duplex) and booked $15k of stays for March and April. Does anyone have any operational advice? Did not expect it to blow up like it has. I’ve smart outfitted the home with Nest and am using Hospitable and Pricelab. Also have a decent cleaner who’s dependable.

Folks who’ve left ClearView, how is life on the other side, and how long did you stay before you jumped ship? It’s a week where I’m burning, and the fact that I feel so isolated during it makes me want to quit consulting altogether. Would also like to talk to some of you if possible. Back to remote schooling with two elementary aged kiddos and with both hubby and I working, we can’t keep up with the zoom call schedule between the two kids. Anyone have a brilliant solution for helping the kids with their own reminders? They don’t have phones and Alexa all over the house sounds distracting for the rest of us. Ideas?

Is it safe to take a company’s word for my position being fully remote, or do I need to make sure it’s exclusively stated in the contract? I’m just worried that their expectations will change once the state of the world calms down. They don’t seem like they’d intentionally trick me but I want to make sure I have all my bases covered.

Do you think remote work is the future? It seems like there are still so many companies out there who still aren’t willing to be flexible or want their employees in the office for at least part of the week. I really enjoy working in my office so I hope we don’t completely phase out in-person work.

i’m in a pickle i have a job where the work is okay, but i cannot stand my coworkers. there’s been so much undermining and rudeness that, even though we’re in a slower slow time, i have so much built up resentment i still don’t like my job. i also don’t like the permanently remote nature of the job (wasn’t remote when i joined), and feel like im getting pigeon-held into low value work (compliance, provision, fixed assets etc.) am i reacting too emotionally for wanting to leave?
