During the first two months of Covid, I ate well, exercised a lot, stayed away from alcohol. Now I chug IPAs for breakfast, nap at 2pm and do bare minimum at work. Is it normal?

Remote job search question:

My partner’s career is moving us to a smaller city w fewer jobs for myself in a few months. Starting to interview now so I’m set when we move. Should I interview for remote/hybrid-friendly jobs in my current location and wait until the offer stage to let them know of the impending move...or so I ask upfront if they’d be okay with it? I want them to want ME rather than my location, and I worry telling them upfront will give them a quick reason to not give me a chance.

Serious question what is Biden’s plan to tackle Covid? He keeps talking about it in speeches but a national mask mandate and the possibility of a two week nationwide lockdown are the only two things I’ve come up with from them.

So sad that billions of people around the world are eagerly awaiting the covid Vaccine, and many in the US, who have the privilege of vaccine access, are not taking the opportunity given to them.

I interviewed for a full-time role (remote) but it was later revealed it would require relocation. I am not wanting to do that and they said I could come on as a contractor. The vendor I would go through provides benefits (medical, dental, PTO). What would be a realistic hourly rate to request/negotiate? I want to get as high as possible but also don’t want to settle for less than what I have to. For context, I am at 165k right now and the role would have been a pay cut to 135k (full-time).

Does the US require a PCR test to travel back to the country? Or does any Covid test work?
