Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. You could look into roles in finance, like financial analyst, business analyst, or management consultant. A strategy might be to start exploring roles along those lines, and perhaps do some networking. Try to talk to people in financial firms and see if you could get some referrals for interviews.
After spending years in public accounting, I made the switch to risk advisory consulting, and it’s been a great fit. It still taps into my technical background, but now the work is more people-focused and project-based. I help clients strengthen their internal controls and processes, and there’s even some travel involved, which keeps things interesting. The pay’s about the same, but the big difference is I’m not constantly buried under deadlines anymore, which has really helped with burnout.
Internal Audit

Go for Internal auditor roles, Risk analyst, Internal control analyst or simply the audit field.
Trust me im in the same boat and have been doing accounting for 7 years now. I need change and wanna be on the other side. With that much experience you will be great at identifying key areas for improvement which all of these roles that i listed require.
Teach accounting at a university or community college. Usually you can be an adjunct instructor with just a masters
