After being out yesterday for my first round of appointments for hip surgery, I have a note about one class whose behavior was awful. According to my policy, that class did not get the 10 minute Game-time award. They were ticked and 1student said i was unfair! I reminded them of the policy, told them that the behavior was their's not mine, and substitute teachers must be treated with respect. Is my expectation unfair or to extreme?
